EMRIS is a small-batch ceramic brand shaped by owner and maker Emily Christopherson, who has worked with clay for over a decade. Grounded in the satisfaction and peace she finds in making by hand, the brand creates everyday tableware and home goods with a calm, lived-in sensibility.

Made from dark brown stoneware or red brick clay, this handmade mug leaves the exterior unglazed so the character of the clay comes through, while a choice of 1 to 4 nubs adds a small bit of personality to the grip. It holds 10 oz and measures about 3.5" x 3", ready for coffee, juice, or whiskey, with slight color variation from piece to piece that makes each one feel a little more alive on the table.
