Our founder, Betsy Wolf, discovered her passion for local art and goods when her Air Force family was stationed in England in the early 1980s. During those four years, she immersed herself in travel, culture, and rich experiences, capturing those memories through the purchase of small, locally made, unique, and affordable items. Displayed proudly in an antique printer’s box, those treasured keepsakes continue to bring her joy and evoke fond memories of the people and places that shaped her journey.
Thinking Big By Supporting Small Since 2015
Betsy's career working with local artists began in 2015 when she discovered SouveNEAR, a women-owned company that sold locally made art and goods out of vending machines at the Kansas City airport. Joining as a part-owner in 2016 and bringing the concept to the West Coast, Betsy proceeded to expand her network of local makers through SouveNEAR’s growth within the state of California and to locations across the United States.
