Brooklyn-based artist Francesca Furian blends printmaking and watercolor with a distinctly New York point of view. Her work embraces the character of handmade processes, using stamp techniques to capture both the rhythm and individuality of the city around her. New York art, Italian heart.

These original block prints capture New York through Francesca's distinctly graphic, hand-printed style, with a rotating assortment of familiar landmarks and city scenes. Each piece begins with a hand-carved, multi-layer block and is printed by the artist using professional oil-based relief inks, giving the artwork its rich color, tactile character, and subtle variations from print to print. Designs may include the Flatiron Clock, Brooklyn Bridge, 7 Train, Fire Escape, Radio City Hall, Water Tower, and other New York favorites. Each 8" × 10" original block print is packaged in a clear sleeve with sturdy cardboard backing, ready to frame or display as-is. No two are exactly alike, which is rather fitting for New York.
