River Birch Candles was founded by high school sweethearts Shane and Erica Washington, who set out to create candles built around natural materials after discovering that many conventional candles did not fit the way they wanted to live. Today, the brand works with 100% soy wax, natural fragrances, and cotton wicks while giving back to hunger-relief organizations with every candle sold.
These hand-poured soy candles make choosing a fragrance part of the fun. The collection runs from familiar favorites like Lavender, Balsam + Cedar, and Coffee to more unexpected blends like Birch + Black Pepper, Coconut Bourbon, and Palo Santo + Smoked Oud. Made with 100% soy wax, organic cotton wicks, and natural fragrance, the 8.5 oz clear jar burns for about 45 hours, with amber jar and black or white lid options also available. A 16 oz clear-jar size offers more of the same fragrance for spaces that call for a little more candle. The hard part is choosing a scent.
