Cord + Quartz was founded by Rachel Anderson, a Las Vegas maker who discovered macramé in 2019 while looking for something that was hers beyond the everyday demands of raising three young children. What began as a creative escape grew into a thriving handmade business spanning macramé, teaching, patterns, DIY kits, and beautifully hand-drawn leather goods.

This macrame kit centers on a leafy wall decor project, with a birch wooden ring, precut 100% cotton cord, and a 5x7 two-piece cutting template that gives the finished shape a clean, defined look. The cord is recycled from the garment industry, and the kit includes either a printed instruction booklet or a QR code for detailed digital directions with photos and tips, making it approachable for ages 9+ and pleasantly hard to put down once the fringe starts taking shape.
