General Knot & Co. was founded in 2010 by Ann and Andrew Payne, two designers whose shared love of textiles and craftsmanship grew from their years as design directors for fashion brands including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and The Original Penguin. Their limited-edition accessories are designed and manufactured in the USA using rare and vintage textiles sourced from around the world, giving each collection a distinctive sense of history, texture, and character.

These versatile travel clutches pair distinctive textiles with thoughtful construction, creating a polished little carryall for both travel and everyday life. Use one for desk tools, writing supplies, or personal essentials, or carry it on its own when you want something a little more put-together than a pouch. Each design combines cotton and leather with a brass YKK zipper, logo-embossed leather zipper pull, taped seams, and a heavy-grade water-resistant cotton canvas lining to help protect what's inside. The assortment spans an ever-changing mix of fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures, with each limited-edition design bringing its own personality. At approximately 10.5" wide × 3" deep × 5" high, it's compact enough to tuck into a larger bag but substantial enough to hold the essentials. One little clutch, a surprising number of jobs.
