Stephanie Brown founded Ox & Pine in 2014 after years of studying leatherwork and bookbinding, and her close-knit team now handcrafts every piece to order. The studio works only with high quality materials and invites each customer to help create the finished piece through leather color and personalization. Its goal is simple: meaningful, lasting gifts that build connection.

Made from full-grain cowhide leather, this classic journal comes in 4" x 6", 5" x 7", or 6" x 8" with 200 pages and a thick elastic closure. The leather grows richer the more it is handled, and natural variation makes each one unique. It can be personalized by hand: each letter, number, or symbol is stamped into the leather with heat and pressure, so every impression carries its own subtle color variation. Leather colors include Rustic Brown, Dark Brown, Saddle Tan, Black, and Rustic Gray, with unlined or lined paper. Add initials, a name, or a favorite quote, and it becomes a companion for years of notes.
