Animas Chocolate Company was founded by Carley Snider and her husband, Marc, with a maker’s eye trained on the river corridor and the mountain-town character of historic downtown Durango. Their chocolates are made in small batches with a hands-on approach that keeps the brand close to its place and its craft.
These genuine Belgian chocolate bars come in a slim format with multiple milk and dark varieties, including spiced and flavored options. Each bar weighs 3.2 oz and measures 6 x 3 x 0.6 in, with a clean melt and a chocolate-forward finish that disappears with a little too much speed.
