Circuit Breaker Labs is Amanda Preske’s brand built around the visual potential of e-waste, using simple forms to highlight the geometric character of circuit boards, resistors, and other electronic scrap. Her process pairs epoxy resin for depth with recycled silver, underscoring a clear sustainability bent.
Made from real recycled circuit boards, this retractable badge reel brings a crisp hit of motherboard pattern to an object most people barely notice. Its 30 mm circuit board face is sealed with a hand-applied resin finish, and the approximately 20-inch retractable cord, metal carabiner clip, and back clip keep an ID or keys within reach. Because each reel is cut from reclaimed electronics, the pattern shifts from piece to piece with just the right amount of desk-side attitude.
