The Request

In early 2024, LoculGoods was contacted by the delightful, effervescent and charismatic Nita Cintron, owner and founder of It's In The Details, a freelance event coordinator and corporate gifting service based out of San Diego. Hired for an event in Palm Springs, Nita's client requested locally made hand sanitizers in a gender-neutral, mild scent and with a label specifically noting that it was made in Palm Springs. Finding nothing quite fitting the bill, Nita asked LoculGoods for assistance.

The Results

With less than three weeks until the event, LocalGoods was able to source 550 locally made hand sanitizers from a women-owned, zero-waste, eco-focused small business, facilitate the creation of the desired custom-label and arrange free delivery of the goods to the site. Additionally, with only one week remaining before the event, LoculGoods was further asked to curate 550 regionally made lip balms, another request we were able to fulfill successfully, on-time and on budget!

This project made a difference to several minority-owned businesses, the arts community of Southern California and the local economy in general. It made an impact on:
