Upcycled Analog Film Camera

Brooklyn, NY

$47.00

Analog photos. Sustainably reimagined.

Fotofoto is a Brooklyn-based studio dedicated to giving disposable cameras a second life through thoughtful engineering and circular design. By salvaging the working cores of discarded cameras and rebuilding them with custom technology in their Brooklyn workshop, the team transforms waste into a refined analog photography experience.

The award-winning FF-1 camera reimagines disposable photography using refurbished camera cores housed in a signature grooved body and enhanced with custom light-sensing technology that automatically controls the xenon flash for consistently well-lit photos. Each camera is built using upcycled materials and preloaded with cinema-grade color film, the same stock used by professional cinematographers for rich color and depth. When the roll is finished, users return the camera to Fotofoto for developing, where the team provides digital scans, prints, or both before refurbishing the camera for its next adventure. Weighing 5 oz and measuring 4.8" × 1.5" × 2.5", this compact camera fits anywhere and turns every snapshot into a sustainable story.

1. 100% Trash — Every FOTOFOTO camera is made from up-cycled waste, and each one gets recycled over and over. And over.

2. Automatic Xenon Flash — Ever taken photos on a dispo and some came out blank? Same. FOTOFOTO's automatic flash ensures all your photos will be better lit, with *zero* blanks.

3. Cinema-Grade Color Film — Last night was a movie—and will look like it, too. By using the same film stock as Hollywood cinematographers, FOTOFOTO photos have richer and deeper color than other disposables.

4. Pay-Later Developing — Send your camera back to us when you're done and we’ll develop your photos at our lab. Choose to get scans, prints or both.

5. Circular – when we receive your camera back for developing, we refurbish and recycle it, sending it back out into the world to make more memories.
