Badgerdog Studio creates handmade writing instruments from distinctive hardwoods sourced through local lumber mills. Each pen is individually turned on a lathe, carefully hand-sanded, and finished by hand, giving every piece its own character and one-of-a-kind grain.

These handsome pens combine natural wood with a sleek slimline design, making an everyday writing tool feel considerably more special. Each is approximately 5 1/8" long and 3/8"–1/2" wide, with the exact dimensions varying slightly by style, and comes fitted with replaceable gel ink. Choose from a rotating selection of hardwoods, with pricing varying based on wood selection and availability. Grain and coloring will naturally vary from pen to pen, so yours won't look exactly like the picture, and that's the whole point.
