Founded in 2013 by partners Jenni Trilik and Marcus Contaldo, Modest Coffee was built to make specialty coffee easier to navigate without stripping away what makes it interesting. Their approach centers on carefully curated green coffees, small-batch roasting, and a straightforward system shaped by cupping score, roast level, flavor notes, and price.

Roasted in small batches to bring out the character of each bean, this single-origin coffee is offered in a range of beans and roast profiles and sold as 12 oz whole bean bags. The result is coffee with distinct flavor from cup to cup, whether you lean bright and lively or dark and deep, with enough nuance to keep things interesting before the first mug is even poured.
