Nicole Aquillano is a studio potter who transitioned from engineering to ceramics, creating hand-etched porcelain pieces where each image is drawn directly into the clay and fired to achieve a softly blurred, one-of-a-kind finish.
Each piece is crafted from porcelain and hand-etched with custom imagery, with artwork inlaid using a dark underglaze that softens slightly during firing. These illustrations appear across small dishes, mugs, tumblers, ornaments, and vessels, often translating homes, buildings, or personal landmarks into pieces that feel both intimate and enduring.
