Matt Fishman Pottery draws on Matt Fishman’s background as a chef and his upbringing to create functional ceramics. Working with locally sourced clay and glaze materials, he tests and refines each one to make pieces that reflect the character of the place they come from.

These hand-thrown ceramic mugs bring a calm, grounded presence to the table, with each piece shaped on the potter’s wheel and finished in a range of glazes that keeps no two exactly alike. Larger styles hold between 10 and 12 ounces, and the varied surfaces give the line a quiet, collected character that feels steady in the hand and easy to return to again and again.
