Alexandra Schmeling Fine Art began when Alex, a Yale-trained photographer and self-taught watercolor artist, started painting pet portraits as a fundraiser for animal shelters. That early effort grew into a small business grounded in watercolor work shaped by both travel and a background that bridges photography and painting.

These 4" x 6" postcards feature reproductions of Alex Schmeling’s original watercolor paintings, with a range of scene-driven designs inspired by places close to home and views gathered along the way. Printed on sturdy cardstock with a matte finish and a writable back for an address and stamp, they look just as good mailed across the country as they do pinned up or slipped into a frame like a small keepsake with a story.
