Dr. Pete's Foods began with Dr. T. A. Peterson, a physician who made house calls by day and spent his spare hours cooking for family and friends. In 1985, his daughter and son-in-law started bottling those recipes, carrying his love of entertaining and big, crowd-feeding flavor into the family business.
