Geometric Wooden State Ornament
Dallas, TX
Graphic lines. Personal place.
Emily Can Letter is the work of Emily Miller, who has been crafting since childhood and launched her first business, Designs by Emily, by hand-cutting greeting cards in her family's living room to sell at small fairs. After facing health challenges at 19, she found new ways to channel her creativity into beauty, and today her hand-lettered work is meant to encourage anyone bravely facing their own circumstances.
This birch plywood ornament turns a chosen city and state into a clean geometric keepsake, cut from 1/8 inch wood and finished by hand with sanding and stain for a warm, natural look. Each one measures about 3 inches depending on the state and arrives ready to hang with a faux leather cord, making it the kind of ornament that feels a little like a map and a little like a memory.
