Mercantile 12 was founded in 2014 by Janet Tupper, a veteran of sales, marketing, and product development, who later grew the brand alongside her partner, Christopher Dunagan. Inspired by the relaxed yet refined lifestyle of wine country, the studio designs destination-driven totes, tea towels, and mugs with a strong sense of place.
Made from 12 oz cotton, this tote keeps its look pared back with a roomy rectangular body and 22-inch reinforced handles for over-the-shoulder carrying. At 15" × 16", it has just enough structure to handle the day’s extras and enough ease to feel right at home wherever the route leads.
