2023 Workday Rising Employee Survival Kit
The Challenge
Workday wanted to provide comfort and stress relief for Workday's "Workmates" who were tirelessly focusing on making 2023's Workday Rising annual global conference the most successful, innovative and engaging experience yet. Workday's dedication to bolstering the local economy and the "Shop Small" movement had them turn to Locable to source items for 280 kits, filling them with products that were useful, sustainable, fun and meaningful while supporting California's regional artists and makers.

Custom Button Set
Mother/Daughter duo Betsy & Katy Horn of Poppy & Quail crafted a unique collection of buttons for Workday from their original design options, further creating a custom button with the Workday logo to round out the set. Buttons are not only an economical marketing tool, they are fun to wear with pride on lanyards, backpacks, hats.

Movie Butter Popcorn
Husband and wife team Peter and Cecilia Ngu have been crafting delicious popcorn for over 16 years. Offering over 20 different flavors in a variety of size options and in both sweet and savory profiles, Workday selected their classic Movie Butter flavor to provide that perfect late-night snack for their Workmates.

Caramel Crunch Mighty Cookie
Workday tasked Locable with finding a gluten-free cookie that tasted amazing and could be private labeled with their 2023 Workday Rising logo. Enter Melissa Cohen of Salty Sweet. These incredible cookies were made by hand with the finest of ingredients and freshly baked, resulting in a treat that was delicious, decadent and delightful.

Custom Letters Sticker
Artist Regina Schachter of doodles.ink is second-to-none when it comes to creating unique, custom, fun, colorful and delightful images. Working closely with Locable and Workday, Regina nailed it with her one-of-a-kind custom Workday sticker in her signature "Landmark Letters" series blending the iconic images of San Francisco, California and Workday.

Sleep Mask
Hardworking Workmates needed every minute of rest, imperative to maintaining peak performance during the conference. Tasked with finding the perfect sleep mask, Locable sourced Daily Concepts' lightweight, comfortable design that features raised eye pockets, keeping pressure off of already tired, strained eyes. And Daily Concepts' commitment to eco-friendly products, using biodegradable packaging and vegan materials appealed to Workday's focus on sustainability.

Wine RayZyns
No kit is complete without some form of chocolate, IMHO. And what better way to enjoy chocolate than with wine? Pair the two and you get CabernayZyns! The Wine RayZyn Company takes specially dried wine grapes and enrobes them in luscious dark chocolate. This indulgent superfood treat is a delicacy packed with fiber, antioxidants and other health benefits. Emergency Kit
Nothing can ruin a conference day like a button popping off of your shirt, a last-minute clothing stain, a chipped, jagged nail, a post-lunch meeting with no breath mint. Workday wanted to ensure all of it's Workmates were equipped to handle any mishap they might encounter. These perfectly proportioned Emergency Kits from Pinch Provisions had 14 different items to tackle what life throws one's way.

Dried Mango
Since the 1970's, the Sigona brothers of Fruit for Thought brought quality fruit to their communities through 3 fruit stands located around the Morgan Hill, CA area. 50 years later, Workday provides their unsweetened, dried mango fruit in their break rooms, offering these all natural, gluten-free, vegan, and paleo-friendly dried mango fruit snacks to Workmates. Wanting to include this convenient, on-the-go snack during Workday Rising, cases of these delightful treats were shipped to Locable for a well-known and loved addition to the gift kits.
Customized Notecards
Workday appreciates their Workmates like no other and take every opportunity to express their gratitude for all of the effort, dedication, talent and enthusiasm brought to work every day. Locable designed cards to include in the 280 boxes, all having a custom thank you message to the recipients. In addition, Workday requested Locable design and deliver an additional 400 notecards of varying other designs and personalizations.
The Packaging
Wanting to gift a good number of items to the Workmates, Locable packaged all of the items in a brown kraft box lined with crinkle paper in Workday's signature colors, blue and orange, and sealed the box with custom packing tape that featured the special 2023 Workday Rising Logo. All packing material was made a portion of recycled materials and 100% recyclable.
